Meet Mothersense Momma

Julie Holliday is a writer, storyteller, and songwriter who believes the most powerful stories are often the ones we almost don’t tell.
As the voice behind Mother Sense Momma, she writes about motherhood, mental health, grief, and the quiet, everyday moments that shape who we become. Her work is rooted in honesty—creating space for people to feel seen, understood, and a little less alone in whatever they’re carrying.
Julie is also a songwriter and the founder of Broken Fence Publishing, where her music and lyrics reflect the same emotional depth found in her writing—stories of resilience, healing, love, and real life, told without polish or pretense.
A wife, mother of five, and lifelong nurturer, Julie has spent years creating belonging in her home—through meals, conversations, and the kind of presence that makes people feel safe. Now, she brings that same spirit into her work, turning ordinary life into something meaningful.
Whether she’s writing, cooking, or crafting a lyric, Julie’s mission remains the same:
to create spaces where people feel safe, seen, and like they belong.
